Paco Andreo
Enrique Oliver was born in 1985 in M?laga. He has taken part in many seminars given by masters as renowned as Steve Grossman, David Kikoski, Mark Turner, Peter Bernstein, Jeff Ballard, Aaron Goldberg, George Garzone, Charles Davis, Tootie Heath, etc.
He has collaborated in more than 30 albums as a sideman, such as “WiCCA” by Jorge Rossy; “Voces”, by Perico Sambeat; “Mason”, by Roger Mas; “UNO”, by Ernesto Aurignac; “El Camino”, by José Carra; or “Lua Amarela”, by Joan Chamorro and Rita Payés.
He made his debut as a leader recording “Introducing Enrique Oliver Quintet”, with his own pieces. He also co-leads the band “Wild Bunch”, which has recorded two albums: “Sexy drugs” and “Wild Bunch”. Besides this, Enrique has performed more than 100 times in the past ten years with his duo Llombart & Oliver, together with Jaume Llombart. They have autoproduced two albums.
He has performed in the most important jazz festivals in Spain (Barcelona, San Sebastián, Getxo, Madrid, Valencia, Sevilla, Malaga, Granada, etc.), as well as in some other festivals and events in Europe (Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Portugal, Denmark, Finland, etc.), United States, South America and North Africa.
He currently lives in Malaga, where he balances his concerts and teaching at music schools.
