Albin Ormegard
Alistair Peel is a bassist from Perth, Western Australia.
He began playing both electric bass and French horn at age 11, and continued these throughout highschool. Upon graduating, he was accepted to study at the WA Academy of Performing Arts, where he learned double bass under the tutelage of Pete Jeavons.
Since graduating in 2016, Alistair has performed nationally and internationally, alongside some of Australia's top musical exports including Tal Cohen, Jamie Oehlers, Ben Vanderwal, Paul Grabowsky, and was awarded second place at the National Jazz Awards in 2023.
